I am very interested in attending your s215 and s330 classes. I am a firefighter with marion county fire rescue and would like to know when these classes might be offered for the 2010 year. If you could please e-mail me a training schedule it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Hi Mike,
I’m the moderator and creator of the Florida Wildland Fire Training site. In response to your comment, I don’t provide the courses myself but I believe the S-215 and S-330 courses that you’re talking about are the ones listed here: http://www.fl-dof.com/training_education/training_schedule.html If you’re interested in the courses listed on that page see if you can contact the coordinators of those courses directly. It looks like for S-215 you’ll want to contact Fred Boehm and for S-330, Cindy Ferguson. Their emails are listed on the page linked above.
Thanks for your question and interest in the site! Let me know if you have any more questions.

I work as a Engine Boss during the summers for private engine contractors.
I am interested in taking S-390 and S-330 in the spring 2010.
Do you offer these classes individually, can I take them as a private individual . What are the costs?
Thank You
Hi Scott,
We don’t offer courses directly here as we’re just an information distributor. Try contacting the folks at DOF (http://www.fl-dof.com/training_education/index.html) or the folks here (http://www.nationalfiretraining.net/course_session/list.html?filters%5Bcourse_id%5D=&filters%5Bsf_guard_group_id%5D=9&filter=filter).

Hi
I am trying to find a course schedule for enrollment for S-130 in the region 5 area. Either on-line or institution. Can you assist; I do live in Florida but willing to take it at another location.
Hi Tom,
Thanks for the question. The next S-130 / S-190 course that I know of coming up is going to be in August and offered by UF / TNC in the Gainesville area. See the link below for more information including the dates and contact information.
